Rochester, NY – October 7, 2024 – D3 Embedded announced it will showcase its latest automotive solutions in collaboration with Texas Instruments (TI) at AutoSens Europe in Europe, which will be held October 8-10 in Barcelona, Spain. This event will focus on the latest trends, issues and challenges involving in-cabin monitoring, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), radar, and cameras.

At Texas Instruments’ (TI) booth #205, attendees will be able to see one of D3 Embedded’s end-to-end vision systems featuring TI’s ultrasonic lens cleaning (ULC) device in operation. The ULC technology ensures that the lens on D3 Embedded’s DesignCore® PRO Series camera is free of water, ice, mud and other debris. This lens cleaner uses an ultrasonic transducer to physically shake contaminants off a protective cover over the lens, which is particularly useful for automotive and industrial vehicle applications.

The D3 Embedded end-to-end system used to demonstrate the ULC technology includes a DesignCore® RVP-TDA4Vx Development Kit multi-camera platform enabling synchronous acquisition of eight FPD-Link™ III, FPD-Link™ IV, or GMSL2™ SerDes capture streams with real-time processing and analytics. Plugged into the RVP-TDA4Vx is a IP67-rated DesignCore® PRO Series camera featuring a Sony IMX390 sensor enabling High-Dynamic Range (HDR) and LED Flicker Mitigation (LFM).
