Rochester, NY – March 16, 2026 – D3 Embedded announced it will exhibit at NVIDIA GTC at booth 174. The premier global AI conference will take place at the San Jose Convention Center and online from March 16-19th, 2026.
During the exhibition, D3 Embedded will showcase its portfolio of sensing solutions, which are designed, built, and tested in the USA, for NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor, and NVIDIA IGX Thor — a powerful, industrial-grade platform that delivers real-time physical AI at the edge with high-speed sensor processing, enterprise-grade reliability and functional safety. D3 Embedded will also demonstrate its latest GMSL Cameras integrated with NVIDIA Holoscan Sensor Bridge, enabling ultra fast, low-latency sensor data streaming directly to the GPU for real-time AI processing.
Showcased at Booth #174:
1. Semantic Object Detection for Robotic Manipulation Using NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor: Featuring an end-to-end robotic manipulation pipeline powered by LLM-based reasoning, transformer-driven perception, bringing together NVIDIA Nemotron-7B, DINO + Nano-SAM2, and NVIDIA Labs’ state-of-the-art novel grasp point generator, GraspGen. This unified real-time system operates on a Collaborative Robot Platform consisting of D3 Embedded GMSL2 Cameras configured for stereo vision and Connect Tech Gauntlet Carrier Board for NVIDIA Jetson Thor. It highlights how LLMs and foundation-model vision can be tightly integrated with real-time three-dimensional scene understanding, enabling robots to perceive, plan, and act in unstructured environments with minimal setup. By combining cutting-edge artificial intelligence models with modern robotics infrastructure, the system demonstrates a practical path toward collaborative robots that are easier to integrate, more flexible in what they can handle, and well-suited for real-world industrial, logistics, and research workflows.

2. Multi-Sensor NVIDIA Holoscan Aggregation Using NVIDIA IGX Thor Mini: Highlighting real-time low-latency connectivity to NVIDIA IGX Thor via NVIDIA Holoscan Sensor Bridge, this system showcases how a single interface can support multiple sensor types for sensor fusion. It features five sensors across three sensing modalities, including RGB mono, stereo, and LWIR thermal, using multiple interfaces to feed into NVIDIA IGX Thor, including 8MP and 3MP GMSL cameras, a 2MP thermal GMSL camera, a stereo GMSL camera, and a 2MP MIPI camera. This architecture enables sensor fusion without proprietary PHYs or MIPI limitations, allowing the same connection to support multiple sensor types. It delivers sub-microsecond PTP synchronization across distributed platforms, making it ideal for the most demanding robotics, physical AI, and mission-critical industrial and medical applications where functional safety and reliability are paramount.

“D3 Embedded leverages its hardware and software expertise in imaging, radar, computer vision, and AI to develop next-generation edge AI solutions from concept to production,” said Scott Reardon, CEO at D3 Embedded. “Participating in NVIDIA GTC presents an exciting opportunity for us to showcase how we enable human-like intelligence for the next generation’s performance-critical autonomous machines”.
